Snow emergency lifted

Logan County Sheriff Andrew Smith lifted the level 1 snow emergency about 10 a.m. Saturday, which had been in effect since 1 p.m. Friday.

The level 1 emergency in Union County also was canceled this morning.

A level one snow emergency means roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be icy. Motorists are urged to drive very cautiously.
