Radiators stolen from tractor parts supply business

BellefontainePolice patch

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report some 30 radiators were stolen sometime over the weekend from World Wide Tractor Parts, 322 Lawrence St.

Staff at the business reported the break-in to police Monday morning. After arriving at work Monday, employees noticed the door to the business was open and the radiators were missing.

Each of the 30 missing radiators was valued at about $400 each, according to reports. The hoods on four trucks were also open, but nothing had been taken.

Local scrap yards have been advised of the theft. Police may have identified two possible suspects and are following up.

Suspect lodged on warrant

Robert A. Wright, 33, of 500 Gunntown Road, Apt. F11, was arrested about 3 a.m. today on a warrant for failure to appear in Bellefontaine Municipal Court. He was identified in the parking lot near his apartment and was lodged in Logan County Jail without incident.
