WAPAKONETA — A Wapakoneta man has been indicted by a grand jury in connection with the alleged illegal video of a small child in a state of nudity.
Gregory N. Hengstler, 60, was indicted this week on illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, a second-degree felony; gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony; and pandering obscenity involving a minor, a fifth-degree felony. He was released on a $500,000 bond, Auglaize County Sheriff Al Solomon said in a written statement.
On July 16, the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint that a person was taking video of a small child while the child was nude. Investigators obtained a search warrant for 13690 Brown Road and seized computers and electronic devices, Solomon said.
Illegal images were found on some of the items. The case was turned over to the prosecutor, and the indictment was handed down this week, Solomon said.
