Lakeview Village Council in its regular meeting this week authorized its administrator to apply for money to fund the north Main Street reconstruction project.
Administrator Pat Parish was directed by council to apply either for a public works grant or a loan to pay for the north Main Street project.
Libby Stidam from Osgood State Bank presented the village with a $100 check benefiting the fire department. She thanked the village for all it does, and council thanked the bank for its ongoing support.
Council is looking into a dead tree on an empty unclaimed property near 175 north Main St.
Beggar’s night in Lakeview is 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, as it is throughout Logan County.
The next regular meeting is 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21, and the Indian Lake Levy Committee will attend to discuss the levy question on the upcoming ballot.
