Task force arrests Robinson again

Adair L. Robinson, 27, of 1000 Garfield Ave., Lot 11, was arrested Tuesday for possession of cocaine and for violating probation.

Detectives assigned to the Logan County Drug Task Force observed him driving around 10:30 a.m. in the area of Sandusky Avenue and Troy Road.

He has been suspected of dealing drugs in the community for months and was out on bond for a June 26 arrest on two counts of trafficking crack cocaine. He also is on probation for trafficking charges from two years ago.

The suspect has no driving privileges and the detectives stopped him on the violation in the parking lot of 605 Garfield Ave.

He exited the car and began to walk away before detectives called him back.

More than 16 grams of crack cocaine were recovered from just outside the car.

He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Driver cited in crash

A motorist was cited for running a red light after a 7:20 a.m. crash Tuesday at Main Street and Sandusky Avenue.

Officers report the motorist, Dawn M. Holder, 42, of Bellefontaine, was northbound and did not stop. Her car was hit by a westbound pickup truck operated by Dwight E. Watkins, 63, of West Mansfield. Damage was heavy.

Reed faces theft charge

Kathy D. Reed, 57, of 421 N. Main St., was charged with theft for allegedly taking game tickets from the bar at the Hi-Point Eagle Aerie 2166, 213 W. Chillicothe Ave.

Police dispatch logs from early Wednesday report coworkers were on a break and returned to observe her running from behind the bar and dropping game tickets to the floor. A closing count of the cash drawer came up short by about $100.
