COLUMBUS — Anne Marie Reames, a board of education member for the Bellefontaine City School District, will be presented with the Ohio School Boards Association’s Veteran Board Member Award at the association’s 58th Capital Conference Nov. 13 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

The Veteran Board Member Award is presented to school board members in recognition of 25 years of service. Of the more than 3,300 board members in Ohio, only five will receive the honor in 2013.

Ms. Reames also is the president of the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center board of education, where she has served since 2004.

In its 58th year, the OSBA leads the way to educational excellence by serving Ohio’s public school board members and the diverse districts they represent through superior service, unwavering advocacy and creative solutions.
