Isaiah Stover, 18, of Zanesfield, was transported to a Marysville hospital after his car struck a tractor-trailer about 4:10 p.m. Wednesday on State Route 347 at U.S. Route 33.
The semi was northeast bound on S.R. 347 attempting a left turn onto the entrance ramp of westbound U.S. 33 when the car struck its rear bumper, troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report.

Witnesses said Mr. Stover was able to crawl out of the vehicle prior to first responders’ arrival. He reportedly suffered visible facial injuries and was taken by Allen Township squad to Memorial Hospital of Union County.
The semi’s driver, John Guenter, 37, of Wallaceburg, Ontario, had recently delivered a load of automotive parts to Midwest Express Inc. and was returning to Canada. He was not injured.
The car was towed from the scene. Damage to the semi was minor.
Mr. Stover was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Personnel from Perry Township Fire Department and the Logan County Sheriff’s Office provided assistance.
