Woman’s rage lands her in jail

Erica L. Ervin, 20, of 11361 Township Road 3, Quincy, was charged with assault and menacing by stalking after an 11:15 p.m. Tuesday altercation that came to an end in the parking lot outside the Bellefontaine Police Department, 135 N. Detroit St.

She told officers that Tabatha McColloch of Bellefontaine had been sending text messages and goaded the Quincy resident to get out of bed and drive to Bellefontaine.

She located Ms. McColloch riding in a pickup truck with Austin Geuy of Conover and began following them.

When they parked in the city lot, she blocked them in, got out of her car and assaulted them.

Mr. Geuy had two visible cuts on his nose from the attack.

She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
