Dustin T. Krouse, 28, address at large, Lakeview, was charged with resisting arrest Sunday afternoon when he was served with several warrants from Bellefontaine Municipal Court, and Auglaize and Champaign counties.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and officers of the Washington Township Police Department were searching for the defendant, and received information that he was at Cottonwood Trailer Park, 8312 State Route 366, Lot 25, Russells Point.
They responded to the area about 4 p.m., and the resident at Lot 25 gave deputies and officers permission to enter the residence.
Mr. Krouse reportedly was hiding in a room in the residence and he blocked the door shut. Deputies were able to get the door open and then deployed a Taser on the suspect.
The defendant then complied with deputies’ orders and he was transported to the Logan County Jail, where he is also being held on a felony burglary charge and contempt of court charges.
