People who think they may want to become a Bellefontaine police officer will have an opportunity to learn more about the department at an Aug. 14 open house.
“People can come meet us, tour the facility and hear about our mission and values so they can have a better feel of what it means to be a police officer in Bellefontaine,” Police Chief Brandon Standley said. “Maybe they will fit in, maybe they won’t, but they won’t know until they come in and meet us.”
The open house comes as the city is considering another test for entry level patrol officer positions.
