Pair arrested after bar incident

Two Kenton area men were arrested early Sunday morning after an incident at Froggy’s Bar, 11065 Township Road 293, Lakeview.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office who were working a security detail at the bar observed shortly after midnight that four men were talking with an employee at the door to the establishment.

Damien R. Plaugher-Tracey, 26, of Kenton, reportedly had been asked to leave the bar. He argued with deputies and employees, but started walking outside.

Once outside the building, he continued to yell and cause a commotion. He repeatedly was asked to leave the property and he responded with profanity toward deputies.

A deputy attempted to place the defendant under arrest, and another person in his party, Bobby D. Scott, 32, of Kenton, pushed the deputy away.

Mr. Plaugher-Tracey was charged with criminal trespass, persistent disorderly conduct, menacing and resisting arrest. Mr. Scott was charged with obstructing official business. Both defendants were transported to the Logan County Jail.
