The Logan County Educational Service Center board recently met, approving temporary appropriations in the amount of $500,000 for 2013-14.
The board also approved a contract with Jeanie Reithman for third-grade literacy professional development in the amount of $9,431 and one-year contracts with employees of the Logan County Family & Children First Council, including Karey Thompson, Stephanie Snyder, Margaret Appel and Krista Brey.
ESC board members’ mileage reimbursement was raised from 45 cents to 50 cents per mile.
Also approved were service agreements with the Shelby County Educational Service Center for services to Bellefontaine, Riverside and Indian Lake schools; one-year contract for Gerald Lenhart Jr. as an intervention specialist; a stipend in the amount of $2,500 to be paid to Jennifer Frederick for STEM Academy work and a five-year certified contract; and additions, deletions and/or changes to board policies.
