Agents with the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force arrested Adair L. Robinson, 26, of 508 N. Madriver St., Apt. 13, on Tuesday for two warrants of trafficking in cocaine, failure to comply with a peace officer and a parole violation.
He was spotted around 3:30 p.m. at Detroit Street and Brown Avenue in a car.
Task force officers approached and observed what appeared to be a drug transaction as they drove up alongside.
The suspect then took off at a high rate speed. He reportedly drove through a red light at Sandusky Avenue and Detroit Street and turned westbound.
He was stopped on Williams Avenue near Lawrence Street. His car had damage to a front tire and bumper.
Police suspect he may have hit a parked vehicle on Walker Street.
He was lodged in jail.
