Residents in the villages of West Mansfield and Rushsylvania and along county roads 26 and 5 still have time to join a cooperative and receive free connections to natural gas service.
Gregory Norris with All American Energy Cooperative updated more than a dozen people Tuesday about plans to bring the service to Rushsylvania.
He noted the West Mansfield project is nearing completion just as the cooperative announced plans for the Rushsylvania phase.
Private investors are providing $1.5 million to run gas mains from County Roads 26 north along County Road 5.
Work could begin within a month and wrap up before winter.
