Indian Lake man has no regrets

One local man celebrated a milestone last week. Richard Wisener celebrated his 99th birthday May 23rd.
Mr. Wisener, who resides on Minnewauken Island on Indian Lake, was born in Wapakoneta in 1914, a time when oil lamps and wood burning stoves were still the norm in houses across the country. He lived in Wapakoneta until he graduated from high school in 1932.
“I was very fortunate to have a job right out of high school. The Depression was hurting everyone then,” said Mr. Wisener.
