Academic Achievement Breakfast honors more than 200 students

More than 200 high school students in nearly 30 disciplines were recognized Friday morning during the 2013 Academic Achievement Breakfast, sponsored by Honda of America Mfg. Inc. and Transportation Research Center Inc.

Pupils and staff members from Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake and Riverside high schools and Ohio Hi-Point Career Center were in attendance at the event at Honda’s East Liberty Plant.

Bill Ramsey, senior staff administrator of Honda of America Mfg. Inc., welcomed students and guests. Riverside High School Principal Andy McGill introduced the guest speaker, Deputy Paul Finfrock of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, who also is a Riverside High School graduate.

The breakfast is coordinated by the Logan County Educational Service Center in conjunction with area high school guidance counselors.
