Pedestrian transported to MRH

Roger D. Brown, 61, of Bellefontaine, was cited for failure to yield after a pedestrian was struck and injured while attempting to cross a drive at the former National Guard Armory, 1023 S. Main St., around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

He was driving a Logan County National Emergency Grant vehicle and hit Sabrina Jo Mills, 20, of 333 E. Sandusky Ave., Apt. 4, who was pushing a stroller holding her four-year-old son along the Main Street sidewalk, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report.

The boy was uninjured, but Ms. Mills was transported by a Bellefontaine squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
