CLARK COUNTY—Troopers of the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a car-motorcycle injury crash that occurred late Saturday at the intersection of State Route 4 and Twitchell Road northeast of Springfield.

Troopers report Cory Gannon, 18, of Mechanicsburg, was driving an eastbound 2003 Chevrolet Malibu on Twitchell Road about 11:57 p.m. when his vehicle entered the intersection and struck a northbound 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle, which caused its operator to be ejected.

The motorcyclist, Justin Miles, 21, was flown by CareFlight helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton with incapacitating injuries. Mr. Miles, whose address was not immediately available, is listed in fair condition at the hospital, according to trooper's reports.

The car's occupants reportedly were not injured.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office and Moorefield Township Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
