Driver injured after vehicle crashes into creek

William F. Chasteen Sr., 74, of Rushsylvania, was transported by BMRT squad to Lima Memorial Health System for incapacitating injuries after a crash Monday afternoon on County Road 105.

Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report that he was operating a westbound vehicle just east of County Road 49 about 4:20 p.m. when he lost control and drove left of center and off the left side of the road. His vehicle then went airborne and came to a rest in a creek.

The driver was wearing his seat belt. He was cited for failure to control.
