Clayton M. Allen, 21, of Rushsylvania, did not report any injuries after he his car drove off County Road 9 and struck a barn and farm equipment late Thursday evening.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report that Mr. Allen was operating a northbound car just north of County Road 118 about 11:55 p.m. when he swerved to avoid a deer and then went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and then went off the left side of the road.
His car then struck a wood splitter, push blade and a barn door on a property owned by Sarah Downey, 6947 County Road 9, Rushsylvania.
Damage was heavy to his vehicle. The driver reportedly was wearing his seat belt.
Deputies continue to investigate the incident, and no citations have yet been issued.
