UPDATE: Driver cited in Friday morning crash

Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol cited Kyle M. Hanthorn 24, of Lima, for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead after his southeast bound car hit the rear of trailer hauled behind a van around 7:25 a.m. Friday.

He was transported by a Bellefontaine squad for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.

The van driver Kristopher M. Barr, 30, of Sandy, Utah, was not injured.

Damage was moderate to the car and heavy to the van and trailer which traveled into the median and rolled over.
