NWS calling for up to 8 inches of snow locally

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a winter storm warning for Logan and surrounding counties through 1 p.m. Wednesday, calling for up to 8 inches of snow, with the possibility of sleet and reduced visibilities in the mix.

Snow and sleet are expected to begin late today and change to all snow by evening, with the heaviest snowfall expected during the late afternoon and evening.
