Businesses cut ribbons

The Logan County Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bellefontaine Examiner recently welcomed three local entities into the business community family, hosting ribbon cuttings for Kennedy Dental, Lazy H Ranch and Hi Point Home Inspection.

Kennedy-Ribbon

Ribbon cutters Drs. Larry and Gary Kennedy, center, are flanked by staff members Ashley Jenkins, Shelli Shroyer, Melinda Coder Badertscher, Rebecca Fitzgerald, Hillary Wickline, Sarah Dulebohn and members of the Logan County Area Chamber of Commerce.

Kennedy Dental was founded in 2001 when brothers Larry Kennedy, DDS, and Gary Kennedy, DDS, combined their practices. Both are 1983 graduates of The Ohio State University Dental School, with Larry practicing for a number of years in southern Ohio and Gary opening shop in the Indian Lake area in 1983. The brothers renovated Gary’s Indian Meadows, Huntsville, office and then expanded with a new outlet in Marysville after Larry returned to central Ohio.

The practices offer options and phase dentistry for the whole family, with special attention directed towards the concerns of the elderly. Additionally, doctors and staff often are involved in community health fairs and other wellness events, and make frequent visits in the community to provide basic care in schools and daycare centers.

The Kennedy team also is sponsoring its first annual Kennedy Dental Tooth Tournament at the Marysville Bowling Lanes later in March. Contact Kennedy Dental at 202 E. 5th St., Marysville, (937) 642-3434, or 7421 State Route 366, Huntsville, 843-3932.
