Zane Robinson, 14, and Michael B. Robinson Jr., 17, both of 251 N. Main St., West Mansfield, each were charged with felony breaking and entering after an incident Saturday morning.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of breaking and entering at a bank-owned home at 153 Main St., West Mansfield, about 11 a.m.
A real estate agent who stopped at the home had discovered that that property had been vandalized.
Deputies entered the home and found extensive damage on the first floor, including holes punched in walls, a refrigerator that was knocked over, oven door ripped off, cabinets ripped off their hinges and damage to ceiling fans and carpeting.
While inside the home, deputies observed a thumping sound of someone else in the residence, and eventually located the two teens in the garage area.
The defendants admitted to damaging the refrigerator, but denied causing any other damage.
Zane and Michael were arrested and transported to the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
