Man arrested for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor

Nathan Wright, 29, of 516 Jay Ave., Bellefontaine, was charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor Saturday relating to an incident with a 15-year-old girl.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office received a report about 8:50 p.m. from the victim’s parents, who reside in the Indian Lake area. Her parents reported that the teen had been missing for several days.

Deputies and her parents were able to track her location to a Bellefontaine address.

With assistance from officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department, the girl and Mr. Wright were found at his residence later that evening.

Both the girl and Mr. Wright were placed under arrest, and were interviewed by deputies.

The 15-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct and was transported to the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.

Mr. Wright was transported to the Logan County Jail.
