Teen arrested after taking pocket knife to school

Taylor Hennon, 14, of 8153 County Road 54, Lewistown, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and aggravated menacing after an incident at Indian Lake High School Wednesday.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the school about 11 a.m. in reference to school officials recovering a pocket knife from a restroom trash can.

When they arrived, deputies and school officials talked with several students about the incident.

About 3:45 p.m., deputies spoke with Taylor and her parents at their residence.

She was arrested and transported to the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.

Teens charged for fighTing

Three teens were charged for fighting following two separate fights at Indian Lake schools.
In the first, officers of the Washington Township Police Department charged Logan Taylor, 15, of 3550 County Road 11, and Britney Zachariah, 16, of 14146 U.S. Route 33, each with assault for a fight that occurred Friday.

In the second incident, which occurred Thursday, Austin Hicks, 17, of 11063 Shawnee Path, Lakeview, was charged with assault.
