Fire damages Game Farm Road trailer

URBANA — The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed Marion Lewis’ 5740 Game Farm Road trailer home Monday morning.

West Liberty Fire Chief John Esch said the fire started in a bathroom wall and heavily damaged the bathroom and a bedroom, with a lot of heat damage elsewhere. 

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

West Liberty crews were on scene for about two-and-a-half hours, assisted by the Urbana Fire Division.

Red Cross is assisting the homeowner.
