Juvenile in custody in connection with Shelby County robberies

A male juvenile has been incarcerated in Shelby County on two counts of aggravated robbery in connection with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department and Sidney Police investigation into the early Tuesday morning armed robbery of two people in Sidney and the burglary of a home along south County Road 25A.

While conducting the investigation into the burglary, which was reported by a juvenile at approximately 5:16 a.m., deputies  located a male juvenile who was wanted for questioning by police for the armed robbery which had been reported earlier.

One female juvenile was arrested Tuesday morning for providing false information related to the investigations and further arrests may be forthcoming, authorities reported.
