A local farmer with a penchant for restoration projects recently landed on the cover of a national trade publication.

Warren Taylor of rural Bellefontaine is featured on the January-February issue of Hart-Parr Oliver Collector magazine operating a 1963 Oliver manure spreader he fully restored.

Published six times a year, Hart-Parr Oliver Collector is dedicated entirely to the Hart-Parr, Oliver and Cletrac tractors and equipment line.

Mr. Taylor has long been loyal to the Oliver brand, ever since his days growing up watching his father drive an Oliver tractor around the family farm.

“Dad bought his first Oliver tractor in 1950,” Mr. Taylor said before adding his family has had about five other Oliver tractors since that one.
