A Huntsville volunteer firefighter drags a hose Monday while fighting a wind-driven field fire at U.S. Route 33 and State Route 274.

The fire originated in a large pile of brush and was spreading north and east in the field. Richland Township volunteer firefighters also responded to help quell the 10 a.m. fire.

Possible rekindling of the controlled burn was reported today.
