SPRINGFIELD — Troopers of the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are currently investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on Lower Valley Pike near Union Road in Clark County.
Dustin R. Miracle, 28, of Medway, was traveling eastbound on Lower Valley Pike about 9:55 p.m. Saturday when he traveled off the south edge, struck a tree, and overturned onto its top in a yard.
He was fatally injured and troopers report that he was not wearing his seat belt.
Mr. Miracle, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was removed by the Storer Livery Service and transported to the Springfield Regional Hospital.
Personnel from the Piqua Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Clark County Coroner’s Office, Bethel Township Fire/EMS, and Maine’s Towing Service also assisted at the scene.
