Pfc. Logan Rapp, a grandson of Bill and Carol Rapp of Huntsville, will participate in the presidential inaugural parade Monday as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army.
His grandparents report that Pfc. Rapp will be carrying a U.S. flag during the parade.
A graduate of Alexander High School in Douglasville, Ga., he completed his basic training at Ft. Sill, Okla., and has been stationed at Ft. Bragg, N.C., with the 82nd Airborne Division for more than a year.
The 82nd Airborne Division is an active duty airborne infantry division, specializing in parachute assault operations into denied areas.
Pfc. Rapp also completed three years of ROTC training during high school. He is a son of Tom and Suzanne Rapp of Temple, Ga., and Rosa Rapp of Fulton County, Ga.
