Three women charged with heroin offenses

Ongoing investigations by the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force led to the arrest of two local women, while a third woman was picked up on a Union County warrant.

Hannah Lykins, 20, of 15870 State Route 720, Lakeview, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for possession of heroin.

According to Bellefontaine Police Department reports, she was at McDonald’s, 1127 N. Main St., when the task force apprehended her. A warrant was issued revoking her bond on six counts of forgery and single counts of possession of drugs and receiving stolen property.

The task force officers recovered a small amount of black tar heroin from her shirt pocket and drug paraphernalia, including five hypodermic needles from her purse.

She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Thursday, Shalene Thomas, 25, who gave her address as 7364 Waterbury Road, Russells Point, (but residents at that address state she does not live there, nor does Zane Grandi, who gave that address for a similar incident Monday), was arrested for possession of heroin. She had stashed dozens of units of heroin in herself, but handed over the contraband to the task force.

Natasha Fissel, 34, of 500 Gunntown Road, Apt. B4, was arrested Thursday on warrants out of Logan and Union counties. She is wanted in Union County for possession of heroin.

She was taken into custody around 10:25 p.m. at her residence.
