Klingler re-elected president; Walls to retire

Don Klingler was re-elected president of the Riverside Board of Education at Tuesday evening’s organizational meeting, during which member Brian Wright was chosen vice president.

Members set meetings for the fourth Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m., except for November and December, when the board meets at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 19 and Dec. 17.

To discuss district goals for the year, members also slated a work session for 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2.

During the regular meeting that followed, Jason Bell, transportation and maintenance supervisor, presented information about the district’s transportation needs.
