The lessons will continue through the spring.

After completing lessons, individuals can attend dances hosted throughout the region.

The Hi-Point See-Saws were founded in 1960 and are based in Bellefontaine, with members living throughout the area.

Members tout square dancing as a way for area individuals to get fit in the New Year, along with a number of other benefits:

• Physically, square dancing may lower the risk of heart disease and diabetes.
