Christmas Day crashes reported

Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle minor injury crash about 9:50 a.m. Tuesday on State Route 47 near Township Road 230.

Beth Stevens, 61, of Bellefontaine, reportedly was operating a northeastbound sport utility vehicle that slid on a patch of ice on a curve and then traveled off the right side of the road, striking a tree and overturning onto its right side.

She was transported by squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver did not receive any citations.

• Robert B. Thacker, 44, of Dayton, was cited for failure to control following a one-vehicle crash at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Troopers report that he was operating a northbound jeep on County Road 5 at County Road 9 when he drove off the right side of the road, striking a ditch.

No injuries were reported.
