Sheriff Andrew J. Smith issued a Level 2 snow emergency for Logan County at 11 a.m. today, in effect until further notice.
A level two designation means roads are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who feel it it necessary to drive should be out on the roadways. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work.
Other counties under snow emergencies are: Hardin, level 2; Union, level 2; Auglaize, level 2; Franklin, level 2 and Champaign, level 1.
