Blizzard warning in effect until 1 a.m. Thursday

A blizzard warning for a large portion of Ohio including Logan County was issued at 1 a.m. Wednesday and will remain in effect until 1 a.m. Thursday.

A winter storm with wind gusts up to 40 mph is expected to dump eight to 10 inches of snow on the area. Blowing and drifting snow and near zero visibility will create hazardous driving condtions.
