Mad River Mountain to open

Mad River Mountain will officially kick off its season at noon Sunday and remain open until 9:30 p.m.

On Monday, Christmas Eve, hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the ski resort will reopen at 4 p.m. Christmas Day and continue to have midnight madness events through New Year's Eve.
