A Lewistown teen will spend Christmas behind bars after Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark S. O’Connor sentenced him to local jail time Monday for charges of breaking and entering and forgery.

Carl J. Cummins Jr., 19, of Lewistown, was sentenced to 60 days in the Logan County Jail, five years’ community control and ordered to pay restitution, a $250 fine, court costs and attorney fees for the two fifth-degree felonies.

Mr. Cummins originally was charged with breaking and entering and vandalism after he and co-defendant Dylan Kossell, 18, of 6675 Willoby St., Huntsville, tossed a cinder block through a window at Indian Lake Outfitters, 8081 State Route 366, Russells Point on May 13.
