Part-time clerk also sought for common pleas court
Logan County Common Pleas Court seeks to offer pay increases to its existing employees and to add a part-time clerical position to the probation office in 2013, according to a departmental budget proposal submitted Tuesday to the Logan County Commission.
In all, common pleas court seeks about $20,000 more next year to pay its employees. The increase would pay for an average 3 percent raise for all employees, except the judge, and fund an administrative assistant for the local Adult Parole Authority office at a rate of $12 per hour for 28 hours per week.
Common pleas court was appropriated $161,350.92 to pay its employees in 2012. It seeks $182,080 for salaries next year.
