Damon Henry, 41, of 508 W. Columbus Ave., was arrested for two alcohol-related accidents near downtown late Wednesday.
He reportedly struck a vehicle in the 200 block of south Main Street and then fled the scene.
Officers responded to a rollover crash in the alley behind the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 213 W. Chillicothe Ave., around 11:30 p.m. involving the defendant who was operating a car near south Elm Street. He hit multiple concrete pillars and the vehicle flipped onto its top, and he fled the scene.
Mr. Henry was located around 12:50 a.m. when officers responded to a prowler complaint at 628 Cook Ave., where resident Jason Bowsher told officers that the defendant entered through an unlocked front door and sat down in the living room.
Two teenage girls sleeping in that part of the house alerted the resident.
The defendant was outside the residence when officers arrived, had vomit on his shirt and multiple lacerations on his hands and fingers.
He was charged with OVI, public intoxication, criminal trespass, failure to control and two counts of hit-skip and was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
He told police that he didn’t remember either accident.
