Detectives of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the disappearance of a Ridgeway area man who went missing 13 years ago today.
Michael Lattimer, who was 18 years old at the time of his disappearance, was last seen Nov. 23, 1999. A family acquaintance reported him missing that day.
“Michael was supposed to run an errand that afternoon, and has never been heard from or seen since,” Detective Phil Bailey said.
According to detectives, Mr. Lattimer also was a witness in an ongoing criminal case at that time. That case has since been dismissed.
Over the years, detectives have received some tips about the area man’s disappearance.
“We follow up on everything that we get, and we still haven’t found him yet,” Det. Bailey said.
“We’re still actively looking at this case in different ways. He has a mother and a father who very much would like to know where he is.”
Mr. Lattimer, who would now be 31 years old, is described as a white male, 5 foot 7 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes.
