Man dies of reported heroin overdose

Emergency personnel at Mary Rutan Hospital were unable to revive a Columbus Grove man who was brought to the hospital around 5:10 p.m. Thursday.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report Jeremy Bushong, 28, died most likely from a heroin overdose.

The man and woman with him reported he had abused the drug about an hour before he died.

An investigation into the death continues.
