Personnel with Bokescreek Fire and EMS and deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle that struck a tree about 4:05 p.m. Monday along State Route 292 between county roads 50 and 48. Lucas S. Sons, 22, of Kenton, was operating a southbound pickup when he drove off the right side of the road and struck a tree, breaking off the pickup’s front wheel and tire. The driver was transported by Bokescreek squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for minor visible injuries. Deputies continue to investigate the crash. Damage to the vehicle was disabling.
