Logan County Sheriff’s Detective Phil Bailey drops an envelope with alleged drug evidence into  a paper bag after deputies and  Bellefontaine Police Department officers assigned to the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force served a warrant at 416 N. Detroit St. on Friday.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department and Logan County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force served a warrant around 11 a.m. at 416 N. Detroit St.

Charged were: Leonard Radford, 34, of Columbus, possession of crack cocaine and trafficking in crack cocaine; Brooks Radcliff, 30, of Columbus, having weapons under disability; and resident Brunetta Walker, 54, trafficking in crack cocaine and permitting drug trafficking.

All three were lodged in the Logan County Jail. Authorities used the police Special Response Team to transport Mr. Radford, who, because of his six-foot, 10-inch height and 600-weight, could not fit inside a cruiser.

Along with the crack cocaine, authorities seized a loaded .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun, money, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.
