Teen located, lodged after reported missing

Devin C. Butler, 17, of 9236 State Route 638, Belle Center, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct Saturday after he was previously reported missing.

Deputies responded to his residence about 5:15 a.m. that day and spoke with his mother, Marie Watkins, who said Devin had gone to the movies the night before with friends, but had not returned home.

Ms. Watkins said she had had limited communication with her son since he left the house.

Deputies made contact with Devin through text messaging and by phone. He told them he was at a park in Belle Center.

He was located at the park about 4:50 p.m., taken into custody and was transported to the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
