Logan County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jason Stanford, 30, 1896 Township Road 179, Bellefontaine, for violation of a civil protection order at about 10:10 a.m. Monday.
Deputies began an investigation into Stanford’s actions late last week after receiving a complaint that he had been in contact with the teenage victim he was convicted of having an improper relationship with earlier this year.
The victim’s family had filed for a civil protection order in February after the Bellefontaine Police Department began investigating his relationship with the victim.
On July 19, Stanford pleaded guilty to attempted illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material. During that time, he was ordered by the court to have no contact with the victim or her family.
Stanford was set to appear in Bellefontaine Municipal Court today.
