UPDATE: Driver who put truck in channel charged

A Cridersville area man was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired after his pickup truck went into a channel on the north side of Indian Lake.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff's Office issued summonses to Chad L. Everhardt, 38, for OVI, driving under suspension and failure to control charges after the 8 p.m. incident.
He reportedly crashed a 1997 Ford Ranger into Indian Lake at Barnes Landing Monday evening and was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS.
Lakeview FD assisted at the scene.
