Mr. and Mrs. Scott Odin Ericksen

Logan County Fish and Game provided the setting for a Sept. 13 ceremony uniting Tammy Jean Cole Louck and Scott Odin Ericksen in marriage.

Pastor Walt Mansfield provided the nuptials.

A dinner reception and a dance followed the ceremony.

The new Mrs. Ericksen, a daughter of James and Ruth Cole of Marysville, was given in marriage by her father and her son, Justin Louck.

Mr. Ericksen is a son of Duane Ericksen of Bellefontaine and the late Dr. Mary Kathryn Ericksen.

The couple resides in Bellefontaine.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kenneth Strayer

First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine provided the setting for an afternoon ceremony uniting Alisha Kay Brown and Robert Kenneth Strayer in marriage Aug. 9.

Pastor Edwin Beale provided the nuptials. Music was provided by Charles Brown, organist, and Dr. Matthew Verbsky and Ashley Duff, vocalists.

The bride wore a white strapless organza corset gown accented with beaded metallic lace on the bodice, skirt and chapel-length train. She carried a cascading bouquet of pink oriental lilies, pink gerbera daisies and green hydrangeas.

Emily Brown, sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor, while Anna Krauss, Suzanne Kress and Kyley Cummings attended as bridesmaids. They wore fuchsia high-low hemmed gowns and carried miniature versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Chloe Prall and Abigail Wyse, cousins of the bride, shared flower girl duties. Aidan Maguire, cousin of the bride, was the ringbearer.

Kraig Strayer, brother of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man, while Seth Reynolds, Joshua Osborne and Bryce Holycross were bridegroomsmen. Dylan Notestine served as an usher.

A dinner and dance reception followed at the Bellefontaine High School cafeteria.

The new Mrs. Strayer, a daughter of Brian and Sharon Brown of Bellefontaine, is a senior at Wright State University.

Mr. Strayer, a son of Keith and Tammy Strayer of Bellefontaine, is a computer network engineer at NetGain Information Systems in DeGraff.

Following a wedding trip to Treasure Island, Fla., the couple is at home in Fairborn.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Hollinger

Hocking Hills provided the backdrop for an afternoon wedding June 16 uniting Kristin Garver and Tyler Hollinger in marriage, with the Rev. Steven Putka performing the nuptials.

The bride chose a satin A-line gown with lace embroidered detachable cap sleeves, side draping, beaded metallic embroidery on the bodice and skirt, and a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of light blue delphiniums, white roses, white lisianthus, white stock and pearl beading.

Serving as bridesmaids were Shona Garver, sister of the bridegroom, Kimberly Summerton, stepsister of the bride and Margaret Smith. They wore satin tea-length gowns with spaghetti straps in peridot and carried bouquets similar to the bride’s.

Peter Mang, and Jason Garver and Aaron Garver, brothers of the bride, served as bridegroomsmen.

A reception followed in the Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel.

The new Mrs. Hollinger, daughter of Brian Garver and Kathy and Ken Summerton, all of Bellefontaine, and Mr. Hollinger, son of Janice and Reginald Hollinger of Delaware, are elementary teachers for Worthington Schools.

Following a wedding cruise of the Eastern Mediterranean, the couple is at home in Columbus.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin David Lonsert

The Jones Family Farm in Rushsylvania provided the setting for an Aug. 23 sunset ceremony uniting Ashley Mae Jones and Benjamin David Lonsert.

The Rev. John James performed the nuptials and Dan Ornes provided acoustic guitar music.

The bride wore a soft white gown with an English net overlay, an A-line satin underskirt, ruffling in rows around the skirt and hem, and halter neckline ties draping over the corseted back. She carried a bouquet of green roses, green hydrangea, deep purple carnations and stock, dendrobium and mini-cymbidium orchids, tied with purple ribbon.

Michelle Grassmuck served as maid of honor and Candice Ornes was a bridesmaid. They wore strapless Bordeaux silk taffeta dresses accented with bows in the back.

They carried bouquets of green roses and hydrangea tied with green ribbon.

Cory Lonsert performed the duties of best man for his brother and Kirby Jones, brother of the bride served as a bridegroomsman.

A reception followed at the farm.

The new Mrs. Lonsert, daughter of Gretchen L. Jones of Brenham, Texas, and the late Stephen M. Jones, is a social worker.

Mr. Lonsert, son of Sue Moshos of Bellefontaine and the late Michael Lonsert, is a restaurant manager.

Following a wedding trip to Cleveland, the couple is at home in Rushsylvania.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Marc Niese

St. Monica-St. George Catholic Church in Cincinnati provided the setting for an April 19 ceremony uniting Meredith Rains and Marc Niese in marriage.

The bride wore an ivory sheath dress with cafe lace accents and beading, and a train outlined in cafe lace accents. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies, orange and yellow gerber daisies, and hot pink and orange roses.

A reception followed at The Madison Event Center in Covington, Ky.

The new Mrs. Niese, a daughter of Laura Peters of Newport, Ky., and Jerry Rains of Aberdeen, is a graduate of Mason County High School in Maysville, Ky., and the University of Cincinnati.

Mr. Niese, a son of Dan and Judy Niese of Huntsville, is an Indian Lake High School and a University of Cincinnati graduate.

Following a European cruise, the couple resides in Loveland.
